ASNW 2011 Season Trophy Winners
Thank you to everyone for a great 2011 Auto Cross season with AutoSports Northwest.  However, being the biased elitist that I am, congratulations to the following club members for winning trophy's in their classes:

Stock 2 Second Place - McClellan, Mark - BMW M3
Non-Stock 2 Third Place - McClellan, David - BMW 328i
Ladies Second Place - Kliewer, Kim - BMW 330i
Stock ST First Place - Riordan, Kevin - BMW M3
Stock ST - Second Place - Haile, James - BMW M3
STU/STX First Place - Kliewer, Bryce - BMW 330i

I'm looking forward to 2012 and running a complete season with ASNW once again.

ASNW President and VP Stepping Down
Back in 2006 I went and ran my Dinan E30 Turbo at my first ASNW Auto Cross event which was held at the Newport Cinema's parking lot.  I spent a grand total of 9.5 hours in the sun while only getting 3 40-second, 1st gear only runs.  What a waste of time and total disappointment that was for me as a novice.

2008 rolls around and Logr and Mikey V have now taken over control of the club.  The difference in leadership and the club is staggering comparing from my first 2006 experience. Immediately, 6-8 runs every event was the normal and combine that with shorter worker days and better, longer courses you get a well run Auto Cross Club, probably the best in the Pacific Northwest if not the country.

Logr and Mikey V have decided to take a break (well deserved) from leading AutoSports Northwest in 2012.  I cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for ASNW, nwBMWclub and all of the area racers.  If you are interested in leading ASNW, please click on the link above for the ASNW Election information.  Also you will want to attend the ASNW Banquet on November 11th as well.

Winter FastKart in Spokane
The club will be organizing some FastKart get togethers over the winter so keep an eye out on the Forums for dates and times.  There will be no set schedule so hopefully everyone will be able to come out at least once and have some fun banging other people's cars.

Advanced Auto Fabrication
If you have been on our forums lately, you will notice that a good number of our members are taking their project cars to Hank at Advanced Auto Fabrication in the Spokane Valley.  If you are planning on building a race car, auto cross car, or just want some advice on building a street tuner car, look no further than Advanced Auto Fabrication located at 11911 E. Empire.

425Motorsports.com
425Motorsports.com has agreed to offer nwBMWclub a club discount of 10%.  They have an amazing website with a huge selection of the latest race gear available.  They also offer free shipping on purchases $100 or more.  Download the Brochure Here or use the code NWBMW when checking out.  Thank you again to 425Motorsports!

nwBMWclub 2011 Event Schedule
(Last Updated October 21st)

Winter and 2012 Schedule will be announced shortly.  2012 will see 1 or 2 more club drives (we might be taking over the Spokane Euro Cruise) not including the annual Montana Run.

Final Note

A BIG thank you to Mike "Logr" Gregg and Mikey V from ASNW for all their work over the past 4 years rebuilding ASNW to what it is now.  A vacation is much deserved for the both of you.
