Event Announcements

nwBMWclub Hosting Auto Cross at Spokane County Raceway:  September 4th
F
or those who remember way back in February, nwBMWclub will be running/hosting the International Mustang Club Auto Cross and we need volunteers to help shag cones from 9AM-1PM.  After 1PM, we will have the Auto Cross course to ourselves to do as we please.  If you want to volunteer, there is a Worker Safety Meeting that will be held at 8:45AM at Spokane County Raceway on the morning of the event.  Please come help our club help out another club who was in need of someone to step up to the plate and host their Auto Cross.

Friday at The Track:  September 9th and 30th
If Auto Cross doesn't quite cut your need for speed then you need to take your BMW out to Friday at the Track!  FATT is a laid back, open track day at Spokane County Raceway's 2.3 Mile Road Course.  I highly recommend these Friday Events to anyone who is serious into racing or improving as a driver.  With coaching available and a laid back atmosphere of racers, you have hundreds of people to learn from.

Pre-Registration is up and this is the second to last event of the year.  Go Race!

Montana Run Seis: September 16th and 17th
The kickoff for Montana Run 6 is very close and nwBMWclub is excited!  Here are some quick details on the weekend:

- Friday the 16th:  Club Dinner/GTG at Flamin' Joes in the Spokane Valley at 6PM (be there on time!)
Flamin' Joes was once again kind enough to give us the outdoor patio for this evening.  Please be there on time to get a seat as it usually fills up fast.

- Saturday the 17th:  Club drive from the Liberty Lake, WA Albertsons to Minnie's in Thompson Falls, MT for lunch.  Please be ready to leave Albertsons at 10AM.  We will be returning back to Liberty Lake around 3-4PM.

- Following the drive there will be a nwBMWclub BBQ/Show & Shine beginning at 6PM.  We have booked The Kave in Otis Orchards (Corner of Wellesley and Harvard) and The Camaro's (local rock band) will be providing the music at 8PM.  Otis Grill will be taking orders and providing the food (excellent burgers and prime rib).

We want to encourage everyone to attend even if you missed the Mt. Run Drive or have never been to an event before (friends and families welcome).  We want to make this a family friendly event so come say hi and meet some local enthusiasts while you enjoy excellent food and good live music.

Club News

5erWest 2011 better than 2010?
Sounds impossible but the rumor from the event was Jake did an amazing job pulling this event off.  Of course he couldn't have done it without the help of Tyler and all the 5-Series Enthusiasts out there!  Great job everyone and thank you from nwBMWclub.

Jake hasn't had a chance to type out a "wrap-up" from the event yet, but as soon as he does, I will mail it out.  Now, go check out the 5erWest blog and the 2011 Galleries!

Forum Problems
If you have seen some downtime on our forums or tried to register, I apologize for the hassle.  We had some bad code in the forum index file that caused those issues.  I believe I have them all resolved now.
