Meet & Eat of the year so lets make it a

ASNW Auto Cross Nationals: October
9-10 - 8AMs
Last event of the season and it's going
to be a good one! ASNW Nationals
(formerly known as Octocross) will be a
2-day event that will determine the winner's
based on their best time from Saturday and
Sunday added up. There will be special
awards for each class. Oh and did I
forget to mention that it will be held at
Spokane County Raceway? You read that
right; Auto Cross on the full road course!
Here is a word from Logr Mike, the president
of ASNW:
Hi Everyone,
ASNW Octocross Nationals has been moved to
Spokane County Raceway. It has been a while
since we have run there but it has been an
ongoing quest to make it happen and it
finally has. I'm sure everyone is really
looking forward to this as the smooth
pavement and variety of sweepers will be a
real treat. We will be trying for the
longest course of the year so don't miss out
or be late.
We need to thank SCR for helping make this
happen and they are our newest sponsor as
well. The ASNW racers need the biggest pat
on the back. For race weekends this year, we
had 95 racers for a low(Labor Day weekend,
won't do that again) to a high of 133 with 8
runs every race day and not a late day for
the year. The racers made this happen, Great
Job.
SCR will be open to camping for racers on
Oct 8/9. You need to arrive by 8pm or
contact me.
Gates open at 7:00am
Tech/Registration 8:00-8:45. Late
registration until 9:00 for 5 bucks extra.
No entries after 9:00.
Drivers Meeting 9:00
Be early and PREREGISTER. 20.00 per day for
MEMBERS. 5 bucks off if you do both days and
preregister.

+++ASNW Awards Banquet is October 23 at 5:30
at Longhorn BBQ on Argonne(by Trent)+++
The banquet is FREE for ASNW members and
10.00 for guests 10 years old and up. We
will be in the upstairs banquet room and be
eating the buffet. There will be slide
shows, videos, freebies, great food, car
talk, the last chance to bench race this
year and ...forgetting something....what is
it.....OH.. The AWARDS. We will be giving
out the Season awards and coveted Jackets

Club News
Montana Run 5 Wrap-Up
Our 5th Annual Montana Run came and went
and luckily, the weather held up for us.
I want to thank everyone who came out and
made this event happen especially those who
come all the way from the Seattle/Portland
area just to make this drive. This
year I believe we found the perfect route
that will continue to make this drive a
success for years to come.

Auto Cross Events 12/13 Summary
Another very successful weekend of
racing for nwBMWclub. In total, the
club has taken home 83 Trophy's for the
year. Sunday was especially successful
with 5 club members in the top 10 of PAX
Overall: Rodd T 2nd, James H 4th, Doug N
5th, David M 6th, Michon D 10th and those
same 5 in the Top 10 of RAW as well: James H
5th, Rodd T 6th, Michon D 7th, David M 8th
and Doug N 10th.
